Escape Room

The world scaling is terrible. The play area is terrible. I feel like i'm 2 feet tall in this game and floating in the air. I dropped a piece of paper... it fell on the floor..Now the only way to get it is to have a basement in your actual house underneath your play space, or start mining away your floor because there is no way you are going to be able to reach that item again by natural means. Then there is the noise.. the constant *BEEP*. I know a bomb is going off and the game is warning me that time is ticking away, but you don't need to beep every second for 1800 seconds straight, that's just torture. Soo I feel this game needs a bit of work. I don't think it's just me having these issues.

"Escape Room" is a pointless VR tech demo that recreates, yes, an Escape Room, you know those kitschy places next to minigolf where they lock you in a room and you have to follow clues and puzzles and work out how to leave. Working out how to leave is definitely something this game makes you want to do. What do you do in the game? Well, mostly it's wrestling with bugs in VR... the game is buggy and obviously untested, to the point it's unplayable, the 3D physics are broken, if you drop things you can't pick them up again... and this is severely dated, too. The creators gave up on this 8 years and 3 months ago. It is destined to remain unfinished. This junkware is just polluting Steam and making it difficult for gamers to fully finished, completed games. That's not good for gamers. The "game" here is of a pretty low technical standard. The implementation is basic minimum effort stuff, more like a weekend project rather than a serious, professionally made product... and it's bad even compared to most amateur made games. Игра "Escape Room" – это захватывающий аттракцион для любителей головоломок и командной работы. Сюжет достаточно интересный, хоть и не самый оригинальный, но атмосфера, созданная деталями интерьера и звуковым сопровождением, полностью погружает в происходящее. Загадки разнообразные, требуют логического мышления, наблюдательности и умения работать в команде. Некоторые задачи показались чрезмерно сложными, и без подсказок оператора было бы не обойтись, но в целом баланс сложности хорошо выдержан. Понравилась динамика игры, время пролетело незаметно, а чувство удовлетворения от решенных головоломок просто непередаваемое. Из минусов – хотелось бы более продвинутых технологических решений в некоторых механизмах, чтобы добавить "вау-эффект". Но в целом, это отличное развлечение для компании друзей или коллег, способное не только проверить интеллект, но и укрепить командный дух. Рекомендую!
