The Great Below

Really unique premise and presentation in this exploration puzzle game. Really enjoyed my time with it, though I did encounter a few bugs toward the end where the screen would go blue and you had to restart, but overall not anything too egregious. Definitely give this a try if you enjoyed games like Lorelei and the Laser Eyes or Obra Dinn. It's not as complex, but for the price it's a good game to spend an evening with.

A short puzzle game with horror themes and unique gameplay. The puzzles were good and I really liked the atmosphere, thanks to the fitting music and audio in general. Besides the atmosphere, not much horror if that's what you are looking for.

With an impressive artistic design, reminiscent of PS1 games, it immerses you into a murky abyss from which you must escape by solving its original puzzles and exploring the entire house, armed only with your map and match. The Great Bellow's soundtrack is also a key component that makes this experience unique, contributing to and enhancing the game's dark and immersive atmosphere. Its ability to generate constant tension and suspense creates a perfect tandem with the artistic aspect, elevating the experience to fascinating levels. Dive into this title; you won't regret it. This, of course, if you manage to get out.

Great atmosphere, but I the constant resets from using the matchsticks to see kill the pacing for me.
