There's no nudity, just some fan service in a really boring and slow horror game. Controls are also very weirdly mapped and it doesn't give you an option to change it

After playing Livestream: Escape from Hotel Izanami, I was really curious to see what the second game would do differently. And honestly, I had a really good time with it. This time, we follow Himari, Aina, and Miyabi, who become trapped inside the abandoned Togaezuka Happy Place shopping mall. I liked the change from the hotel to the mall because it gives the sequel its own setting and story. One of my favorite changes is that the three girls are separated at the beginning. In the first game, the girls were mostly together, while here they start on different floors. You switch between them, find items and clues, and help each other progress. I really liked this change. In the first game, the girls being together made things feel more direct, but here each girl has her own situation. What you do with one character can help another, so switching between them actually feels important to the gameplay. I also really liked the phone/video feature. You can watch additional videos to learn more about the girls and their pasts. I thought this was a cool way to give them more personality and background. The story also does something I really appreciate in a sequel: it remembers the f…
Nice and fairly short horror VN with psychological and supernatural aspects, high quality L2D and great voice acting. Oh, and it comes with a horror adventure game, too!
Livestream 2 is the sequel to Livestream: Escape from Hotel Izanami. The two are loosely connected, so you can play whichever you like; they are both great games! The sequel preserves the core experience and expands it with the neat livestreaming / character switching mechanic. That said, Livestream 2 feels like a new franchise entry, offering a completely new story with the same base game. Don't expect any crazy improvements, the original did not leave anything to be desired, anyway. Both games are polished. The formula remains mostly unchanged. The original was focused more on the horror aspect, with an intricate villain background and a progressively more eerie atmosphere as you got closer to the roots of the mystery. The sequel is focused more on the three characters, Himari, Aina and Miyabi. All three of them have a story to tell and a trauma that they are dealing with as they escape the nightmarish "Happy Place". In classic Japanese fashion, the characters' internal struggles and the crisis they a…

Livestream 2: Escape from Togaezuka Happy Place, developed by qureate and Orgesta Inc., continues the series’ blend of anime-styled storytelling and horror, but shifts its focus into a more structured and atmospheric survival experience. Set within an abandoned shopping mall that was once marketed as a cheerful attraction, the game plays on the contrast between its colorful past and its current state of decay. What begins as a livestream stunt quickly turns into a desperate situation, with the characters trapped inside and pursued by a disturbing mascot-like entity that embodies the game’s unsettling tone. The gameplay is built around a side-scrolling format that emphasizes movement, timing, and environmental awareness rather than combat. Players guide multiple characters through different sections of the mall, gradually piecing together a path to escape while avoiding danger. The decision to use multiple protagonists adds variety to the pacing, as each character’s situation unfolds separately but contributes to the overall progression. This structure keeps the experience from feeling overly linear, even though the path forward is still carefully controlled. Stealth and evasion f…
