About 1166
1166 is a psychological horror game following six people in Salem, Massachusetts and how their lives change when one of them is kidnapped….
Fight through pain, depression, and grotesque monsters to uncover the truth. The darkness has taken a hold, will you see the light or hide in the shadows? Or will you find another way? Will you slaughter everything in your path, or take a more passive approach? The choice is yours...
Made by a one man (and two cats) development team, this dark mystery has simple artwork, keyboard and mouse controls, compelling multiple endings and original music.
Key Features:
-Thrilling adventure with a deep story that captivates from beginning to end.
-Charming pixel-art graphics and a simple interface that gets out of your way.
-Complex characters, each with their own personality and agenda.
-Original soundtrack.
-Multiple endings, each with part of the whole story.
-Exciting combat that pushes you to move with caution.
-Available on PC, MAC, Linux.
-Occasional Pixel boob!
1166 contains strong adult themes and is recommended for player over 18.

Amy is a total baddie. I have no idea how I'm supposed to actually kill enemies, but I still had fun trying.
PROS - it had weird atmosphere that compelled to continue. Maybe feeling like Silent Hill. - It could be called walking sim and that's fine, but I'd hope developed had made it adventure game. - I gotta give kudos to one-man-two-cat team that made game, and apparently without external assets. CONS: - Graphics. Such a pixel art seen since C64. That would be first to distract casual player. - Even after ending the game and checking various endings, story felt kind of vague. - Fighting pointless. And could've done with keyboard. Took moment to note that mouse actually did something. - Walking speed in final puzzle could've been faster.
Another title from the way back years of buying basically everything I ever had the chance to buy. I took notes, which is why I'm here today. The game's combat is... rough. It's detracts from any other portion of the game because when you hit combat it's like a slap in the face reminding you that you're in for a bad time. But hey, that might've just been me.
