Regrettably had to refund, price was at the time too high and did not deliver features promised. No models came with it, LLM service limited to some online service- and it would seem much lost in translations. I do see potential here, if it were suitably updated- noting no such promising software seems to have been updated since 2024. I am forced to choose to recommend or not and I must presently not even at the new price for I see no evidence of update.

3D Desktop Pets sounds like a cute and relaxing idea on paper, but in practice it feels more annoying than enjoyable. The novelty of having little animals walking around your desktop wears off fast, especially when their movement and animations are stiff and repetitive. Instead of feeling charming, the pets quickly become distractions that clutter your screen and get in the way of actual work or browsing. The lack of depth really hurts the experience. There’s very little interaction, customization is minimal, and after a few minutes you’ve basically seen everything the app has to offer. It doesn’t evolve, surprise you, or give you any real reason to keep it running. What could have been a fun, cozy desktop companion ends up feeling shallow and forgettable.
