Abandoned EA, the devs are working on another game, make sure to put it on your ignore list. Idea was decent but it has little replayability and zero difficulty. Only buy it at -95% sale.27 found this helpful
Giving this a downvote cuz you spelled "Lose" as "Loose" in both the achievements and in other parts of the game. I can't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ stand when people mix up those 2 words. Literally my biggest online pet peeve. FIX THE DAMN TYPOS PLEASE4 found this helpful
This has been a promising game but has since been abandoned as of writing with the last update being more than 2 years ago. Cannot recommend at full price, worth considering only under a heavy discount.3 found this helpful
This game is simple and addictive. One of the best of the breakout style games i have played. i can see where the game "Ball Pit" ma have been inspired by this game. I hope the developers make a sequel and build upon this fantastic game design. A must have for Steam Deck at an incredible price.1 found this helpful
Against Great Darkness is a roguelite action game developed and published by Hitreg Studios that stands out through its willingness to experiment with genre conventions. While many roguelites borrow familiar ideas from twin-stick shooters, dungeon crawlers, or survival games, this title takes inspiration from an entirely different source by incorporating brick-breaker mechanics into a fast-paced battle against the forces of Hell. The result is a surprisingly creative blend of arcade action, strategic build crafting, and chaotic combat that feels fresh even within a genre filled with innovative concepts. The premise places players in the role of legendary pagan heroes and deities who find themselves trapped in the underworld. Their goal is straightforward: survive relentless demonic assaults and carve a path toward freedom. Although the narrative remains relatively simple, the setting provides an entertaining backdrop for the action. The game embraces themes drawn from mythology and religious imagery, creating an environment filled with monstrous enemies, dangerous bosses, and strange supernatural encounters. This combination gives the adventure a distinctive identity that separate…
Still a lot of balancing issues. 1. fetching disks are not rewarding. Sometimes ignoring disks gives a better run. You bounce the disk 3 or 4 times just to scratch the enemy. 2. homing bullets becomes quite OP if you cannot move up and down, but this happens only in like stage 4, which can be fine. 3. the upgrade thing in the store is quite expensive. After a run to the stage 4 you can still only unlock 1 or 2 things. 4. most of the characters cannot deal with kamikaze enemies. 5. bouncing disk zeros if one of them drops out of the screen which is punishing.
