Alone Journey

After 15 minutes of playing I'm ready to hide this game from my account. I bought it discounted from a third party retailer but I feel that I paid to much for what I got. I didnt have fun playing this game. I did like the pixel art characters. Still , a single piece of music playing through fifteen short stages with no story and just the title screen as an ending ( spoiler, sorry ). This game feels like it was made in a level editor in under an hour.

Alone Journey is a "template flip", that is to say, it's a "game" that has been produced by copying a game template or using a game construction kit, and changing a few things. In this case it was a game construction kit/template for doing a simple retro platformer/brawler game. At least I think it's a brawler, the "developers" didn't bother mapping a control button for attacking when they ripped off the asset store template. Embarrassing. This is deplorably low quality bundle trash. No professional effort was made in terms of game development, copying a template/using a game construction kit requires no talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. It's almost as bad as an outright asset flip. This is nothing but a lazy, greedy cash grab and should be avoided.
