About Always Forward
A very short tap-and-jump game that brings along some personal complaints.
As you might expect, the game can be quite boring. Bland, one-dimensional gameplay, prototype art style, plus personal crumb.

"Always Forward" is a garbage minimal one-button endless runner that makes Flappy Bird look like 4D chess. It was dumped on Steam as a joke, from what I can tell, the developer even admits there's nothing to this in terms of meaningful gameplay, it's not in any way a contribution to the gaming industry and has no value for gamers. What do you do in the game? Press one button to jump over the gaps. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy". Yes, contemporary 3D graphics take a lot of time and effort to create. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. This is "free" enough (not every "free" game in the "free" section is truly free, there's usually some hidden price tag), at least you won't be expected to spend any more money after you…1 found this helpful
Harder than it looks, but there's a backstory to read as the game goes on, in case you want to go the distance.
easy
Easy game to learn the speedrunning strats for. My only complaint is that its impossible to fully read the text, since it goes away too fast. I got enough to understand though, good luck with your game development journey. To play in English, press the second button on the main menu then choose the option that says English.
i like the controls. sometimes my character does a very small bounce when i land, though, which prevents me from jumping right away.
