I don't normally play puzzle games, but when I do I disappoint myself: 1. I tend to repeat the same strategy over and over again expecting a different result. 2. I forget how movement works. 3. I think about how this applies to my life... do I always go left till someone tells me to go right? Then someone else tells me to go left... Is my life all about going the direction others want me to go? 4. Remembering I can jump. 5. Forgetting how to jump. 5. Wondering about custom workshop stuff. 7. I skipped six. 8. I solve one problem in life, go through an exit door, enter a new problem where I fail 1000s of times before exiting to a new problem. 9. My reflex's are terrible. 10. There's 16 levels and I'm on 3 or 4... I disappoint myself. 7/10 will keep playing Indirection.1 found this helpful
Its a pretty clever platformer and I really like its mechanics and snark. Even if I do think some of the puzzle elements need to be communicated better.1 found this helpful
twas a very fun game yes yes could play for hours at a time if i wasnt so good
Immersive platform/puzzle game with a captivating world, unique concept, and an experience unlike any other game like it. After getting use to the concept of only being able to go one direction, I feel like this game rewards the dedicated player by slowly introducing mechanics that slowly build off of one another and by the end you're skillful maneuvering through the level without a second thought. Some levels can be quite challenging and frustrating but I think this adds to rewarding feeling the player gets when they finally overcome this fun, indie game. Would definitely recommend this to people who like challenges and unique platforming game design
Love the aesthetic and unique game play!
