This really is a rather mediocre, forgettable shoot 'em up. I would rather play Xortex, which is free (from Valve's The Lab mini-game). This game isn't terrible, but I just didn't have fun playing it. So what did it get right? I liked the visual variety, the different scenes & the different types of encounters were good. For example, in one level you're avoiding & exploding asteroids before you get crushed or you avoid electron light fields that move all around. I also liked all the different weapons and how they all did behave differently and how the upgrades felt substantial. There's also a nice variety of enemies & boss fights. The particle effects were also good. However, I think this game got just about everything else wrong. The biggest thing is how holding the twin ships feels wrong & unresponsive. Although I only played like 8 mins I can tell you this game isn't worth your time. • No action like the trailer or screenshots. Mainly black space with enemies just flying on a 2d plane. Look up longer plays on Youtube (there is one that is 56mins) and you can see its mainly black asteroid fields with same enemies. • You mainly point/aim your ships then move them. 1 unit of controller movement was maybe 0.3~0.5 unit of ship movement. It does look there is a lot of upgrades you can do to your ship but this game isn't 3D bullet hell like The Lab Xortex minigame but rather just a 2d bullet hell with a front plane (your ships) and a back plane (enemy ships). Got this game from a Fanatical Bundle to complete the number of games needed to buy and wish I would have watch a Youtube video first on how lackluster this game is. Spend your valuable time playing something else.

Not a bad game, but has been abandoned with bugs that were reported years ago. Particularly, if using missile launcher in chapter 4, you will be unable to continue. Also, it's seems to give me a bit if eye strain, possibly due to the backgrounds being a texture instead of real 3D. On the plus side, it has a decent size campaign, which is often missing from VR games.

Kept crashing on loading any level/mode

Zero fun indeed. $18 game that feels more like a cheap prototype.
