The best anti war experience i know of from 2001, since 2006 the videogame of my life, really. Operation Flashpoint, or, as here because of Namerights ARMA Cold War assault, gives you the perfect Soldier feeling before you are a POW who gets r*p*d by the enemy (this expierience is not included). One Bullet and you are dead, if you are lucky. Otherwise you have the decision between robbing for hours to accomplish your goal or restart and get F***'d again. Be Lucky and gratefull that you get one save per Mission, it takes the realism, but its Perfect. After this you know that peace is the only option for you in reallife to play Videogames and be depressed at the same Time instead of cringing and memeing about some deus vult ♥♥♥♥. This is the game wich educates you on War and stupid Politics who try to seduce you, this is Art for the next generations to come. Always crouch and think loooong before you attack because its better than beeing supressed for around 3 Bullets before the enemy Kills you with his T80 wich is outa sight for you. Reallife. No Battlefield or Counter Strike, only war in 1990. Without Drones or Putin. If you want to get R***d by drones stay with arma reforger. …2 found this helpful

Really fun to see how far we've come. And this one even runs on my laptop!
good game a little rough on deck but i bought it to support a message that i want more linux support
meh. this game did not age well. for starters you cant play as the soviets or russians or whomever the eastern hordes typecast bad guys are. the length of campaign is like 4 missions. the mission editor is clunky and lacks instructions. i am refunding this.
very fun ARMA game now with Linux support. A little old, quite janky and very tough... Perfect!
