I can say with 100% certainty that this is a buy! I was sceptical because I have never played 2D games prior to this one, and I'll be the first to say that I will be purchasing more games like this! If this was on IMDB, it would get an 8.8/10! It is Christopher Nolan level. Having only played just under an hour of this challenging game, I have reached a sky-rocketing death-count just north of 100, and I am excited to gain more and see how the story unveils!

This game has been in my wish list for a while and I was so excited to finally be able to play it! It's welcoming to play a game for once that is actually challenging at times and requires you to think about how the level can be completed. It is very satisfying when you figure out how to complete it and move on to the next stage - i feel smarter since playing it. It keeps your interest as new game mechanics are introduced throughout the levels. There is so much detail within each level and I look forward to reading notes and speaking to humorous characters that contribute to the intriguing story and immerse you into the world. The art style of this game is stunning! I could use the background to every level as my desktop wallpaper. Also the soundtrack is subtle and positively adds to the atmosphere of the game. Although i'm only 6 hours in I can't wait to replay it so I can find all the collectables and secrets i may have missed. Would definitely recommend this game and I'm excited for what they are going to do next!

Almost as good as the movie Gravity starring Sandra Bullock 7/10 IGN, must play metacritic confirmed, takes inspiration from Game of Thrones and Brooklyn nine nine but delivers it significantly better

The game itself (as much as I played) was pretty good. My main complaints are with the controls. On controller there's no option I could find to rebind them. Movement is analog stick only, no D-pad movement (except in the menu it's switched). L3 is a crouch that kills your momentum, and the number of times that happened mid-air was obnoxious. That's my main gripe, so if you play on keyboard, it'll probably be a better experience. Jumps are continuously buffered by just holding the button, instead of buffering if the button is released and pressed again while in the air. Gravity switching is not buffered at all. I didn't get to the last control of Push, but I wonder why this is a separate button and not just moving into something. Then there are a couple things that appear to be bugs that make me wonder if there will be other issues later on. I played through the first chapter and unlocked the second chapter complete achievement (first chapter achievement still locked). The level select appears to be playable, kind of. There doesn't seem to be any way to complete them, and the same movement that moves the guy also moves a cursor to select the levels. Also, the guy will just walk …
