[h1] Author Clicker [/h1] Hands Down Best AVN title I've ever played. It's even better than ''Being a Di'k'' I can't tell if this game is a school project or if a random thought just came across this developers mind thinking he would create a visual novel, but this person failed on so many stages. It's a joke towards the Visual Novel genre and a very poor attempt of trying to create a unique Authors game. There is barely any content and when I say that I mean there's like 10 minutes max of ''gameplay'' where you scramble together some text and supposed to match these to a couple of images. Author Clicker makes little sense. Some of the meanings are sloppy, ill grammar, or doesn't really fit in anywhere. The concept for making a game like this can be sucessful if you create it properly. I'm sure there are many people who would like the idea of creating your own Visual Novel, but this game has too many issues and it's frankly just another mediocre game, if you even can call it a game. You can't even save the sessions you've put together. There are no settings whatsoever. There's maybe about 50 different meanings you can choose from. There is also only like 12 different images. This game will only appeal to those who enjoy word games, however I highly and enthusiastically recommend it. If you are a "Word Nerd" like me, you will probably enjoy playing with this unusual, quirky little game. It is basically a digital version of Magnetic Poetry. In addition to its obvious similarity to the variety of Magnetic Poetry kits sold at bookstores, it has pictures that mix with the word and phrase tiles. There is already some support for adding your own custom words and phrases, and may soon include the ability to customize pictures as well. I love browsing the Steam store for off-beat, unique gems in the $1 or less price point. There is really nothing else like this on Steam and I'm so glad I found this truffle among the swine. It's not perfect, and is a little confusing to use at first. There isn't a lot of documentation or instructions, but I got the game and all DLC for under $3 so there isn't much to complain about. I buy a lot of super cheap games on Steam and this is one of the best things I have found for under $1.
