Sherr-Lok, a detective with unconventional methods, aids the Doyle District Detective Bureau and offers private investigative services. Watt-Sun, once a frontline soldier, battled a decade of homelessness and PTSD before Sherr-Lok mentored him into becoming a detective.

Sherr-Lok and Watt-Sun's next journey sees them navigate a mysterious case involving Peter Baskerville, heir to the infamous Baskerville Hall, just mere months after the death of his uncle.
