Being a DIK - Season 1

Not without flaws but maybe the only novel that is worth the now almost 60 dollars price tag for all seasons.

I never in 1000 years would I thought a game such as this would become one of my favorite games i've played in years... I had more to type but I will just reiterate what another comment stated: "I came for the sex scenes and stayed for the story". It's crazy how good the writing in this game. It's well thought out and the choices matter. 10/10 would recommend, even though the time between seasons is substantial.

What can I say about the king of visual novels? After the creator's debut (*Acting Lessons*), this title drew me into the genre and showed me that these games are about far more than just e**** scenes. The story features incredible branching paths, with every character possessing a distinct personality, personal struggles, and a unique backstory. You certainly won't uncover everything in a single playthrough; the game compels you to play through it multiple times—making different choices each time—to fully understand the character you're interested in. Your actions shape your personality and your reputation with the characters, thereby determining the course of your playthrough. Each character has something to offer, and it is entirely up to you whether you pursue a committed relationship or remain the life of the party, enjoying the student lifestyle. The game is further enhanced by an amazing soundtrack that you won't be able to get out of your head (believe me, many of the songs have made it onto my real-life playlist). The animations are beautiful ( and still fully hand-drawn, a rarity these days, even with the third season now out. ) Trust me, the story is absolutely amazing …

This game has no business being this good. Now I'm not only contemplating my life choices but also the choices I made as "Ass man". My girlfriend broke up with me and I'm devastated! Who would have thought it wise to show restrain in a game where every female in a twenty yard radius wants my ♥♥♥♥ in their mouth! Who would have known my actions would have consequences! Who would have thought I would shed tears when my friends (in game friends, imagine having irl friends) talk about their upbringing! ♥♥♥♥ this game. Probably going again soon, I can't leave things with [spoiler]Sage[/spoiler] like this, she is the bestest. ♥

Great story! I love playing it over and choosing a different path. There is so much that each path offers that are unique! I REALLY hope to see season 4 soon!
