Bell Ringer

Honestly the game just wasn't fun for me to go through, I went through it to finish the achievements as all the online ones now automatically unlock and after an genuine attempt to play as intended to earn the 1 hour as each character achievements I quickly gave up and found a way to AFK for the hour as each character achievements. Perhaps it was better back when online was around but single player was just not a great time. The controls didn't feel great on a controller and enemies were quick to hunt you down and attacking with different moves was confusing. Also if you have steam VR installed it will launch it when the game launches despite not supporting VR.

The game itself isn't exactly terrible, I just think the execution is really poor. First of all, there's no multiplayer lobbies anymore, which makes sense for a decade-old game that no-one really cares about anymore. That leaves only singleplayer (unless you want to do local multiplayer, which isn't great in my opinion). I tried this game on Easy mode and Hard mode, and the AI always knew where I was, regardless of where I was on the map, as well as being able to spam their abilities and kill you really quickly. The boss for the first level is easy enough to complete, but the second level boss is just pathetically difficult, even on easy mode. Next, your lives don't reset at the beginning of each level, and there are no checkpoints. So if you have 1 life and get to Level 2 then die? You gotta start the whole game again from the beginning, which I think is crazy. Also, what is up with the controls? Arrow key movement, and such amazing keys like D, C, V, S, and A as your attack buttons. Whoever thought assigning them as the default attack controls needs to take a lesson in gaming. Overall, I won't recommend this.

Звуковое сопровождение выше всяких похвал – мелодии колоколов звучат реалистично и погружают в процесс. Игра может показаться монотонной на первый взгляд, но стоит только вникнуть в механику, как она затягивает на часы. 'Bell Ringer' – это отличный выбор для тех, кто любит необычные симуляторы с глубоким геймплеем и приятной атмосферой. Рекомендую!
