BRAWL is an arena game that combines the best of oldschool arcade classics with contemporary mechanics. If you think you know this type of gameplay, think again! We’ve added a deep layer of tactics to a classic genre, which will make you want to improve your skills and show everyone that you’re not the one to mess with. Each character has a unique set of skills that help them dominate the match. Prove your worth and challenge your friends today!
Bomb your way through eight campaigns, one for each of the characters. Brush up your skills in the Tutorial and show who’s boss in the online and local multiplayer! There are various modes for you to choose from, starting with the Arena (Free For All for four players) and Duel (one on one) modes, through Sumo (push your opponents out from the stage), Color Domination (paint the most of the stage in your color), up to Classic (no skills, only powerups) and Team Deathmatch. There are also Challenge modes (Horde, Sheep), if you want to test your skills against the never-ending swarms of enemies, all in all giving you countless hours of nonstop gaming fun.

⭐ Did not like this game at all. Only played it because I wanted to beat all the games by Bloober Team who have become one of my favourite developers. This however is a far cry from the horror games they specialize in now. It might be good for some people who are into these sort of arena puzzle type games but if you've come to this looking for more Bloober Team games because you enjoy their newer titles, turn around. Why have I never reviewed this?! Look, if you like bomberman this game will blow your socks off. It's just great fun. What makes it different from Bomberman? -Your characters have unique special moves such as dash (gets you out of trouble quick) or you put up a 4x4 fence in an area you shoot at, trapping those inside or protecting yourself.. (these moves charge up, so you cant spam) - Gore! lol -Modes like sumo, trying to knock each other off the board Basically it's bomberman with superpowers, even wheelchairs Downsides to the game? - It's depressing, where as bomberman is happyland. It sounds silly but after some time goes by you feel the gloomy atmosphere start to hit... Maybe it's just me? The maps are great and suit the games feel sure, but they do have an impact to your psych lol - Bomberman has more level customisation. You seem to have lives and see who can get the most kills within the changeable time limits. Sometimes I just want to play last man standing but havent spotted any way to do that. Will edit if I find it
Brawl has an interesting setting and overall presentation. Unfortunately, the level design and gameplay are just not fun. Character abilities are largely redundant and unnecessary, and the developers would have been much better off limiting these to just a single special ability per character to make each character unique and to add a little something special on top of the tried and true Bomberman formula. The game is also optimized for a controller and while you can play with a keyboard, the controls are uncomfortable and cannot be remapped. Overall, this is just another sad example of a game that was shipped and then never fixed or improved.
