"Biomydra" is one of literally thousands of student projects infesting Steam. It's from Campus ADN in Canada. While student projects tend to be better quality than most "amateur" made games, we must still question what value such projects have for gamers. As with all student projects, this isn't really a fully fleshed out game, it's just the result of an academic exercise, and as such it has much more limited value as a game than a professionally developed game would have. Educational institutions should not be using Steam as a dumping ground for homework assignments (especially if the students didn't even pass the course). Sure, it helps their marketing and helps the students feel good about themselves, but this is another case of a business putting themselves before the needs of gamers. The students made a short, simple platformer that's nothing more than a basic tech demo that lacks depth and playability... and polish. Like all student projects, it's a janky mess, just good enough to feature in a portfolio to try convince someone to hire them. Игра Biomydra – это захватывающее приключение в пост-апокалиптическом мире, где вы берете на себя роль выжившего, стремящегося раскрыть тайны мутировавшей флоры и фауны. Геймплей сочетает в себе элементы исследования, крафтинга и напряженных сражений. Очень понравилась атмосфера: мрачные ландшафты, детализированные локации и жутковатое звуковое сопровождение отлично погружают в мир, полный опасностей. Система прогрессии неплохая, позволяет развивать персонажа и адаптироваться к условиям. Среди достоинств я бы выделил интересный сюжет, который постепенно раскрывается по мере прохождения. Мутанты сделаны достаточно оригинально и представляют собой серьезную угрозу. Крафтинг, хотя и не самый сложный, дает возможность создавать необходимое снаряжение для выживания. Однако, есть и недостатки. Боевая система может показаться немного однообразной, а местами темп игры замедляется из-за необходимости собирать ресурсы. Но в целом, Biomydra – это стоящая игра для тех, кто ищет атмосферный survival в необычном сеттинге. Рекомендую!
