Needless to say if an educational institution taught me incorrectly on purpose, I'd ask for my money back. "Blight's Grasp" is a student project from Southern Arkansas University (SAU) Game Lab that ignores that 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid 1990's... there's no such thing as a gaming PC without 3D graphics. The faculty at Southern Arkansas University (SAU) Game Lab apparently didn't feel it necessary to tell students about that. It's going to be tough for any student to go find work in the industry if they can't even show they know about 3D video games. The students made a cartoony/cel shaded third person console-tier brawler game with a gimmick that you change your available attacks based on the "elements" you find. Plotwise it's nothing interesting, low effort sci-fi pulp about an alien planet and a missing sister and a cure for the corrupted world, but the gameplay and the plot seem somewhat divorced from each other. It might make the students feel good about themselves to get this published on Steam Direct (even if no gamers actually wanted it), but this has no benefit for us PC gamers. We have to question the value of institutions flooding the store with low q…

It is a really fun game! I am a very casual gamer and this was easy enough to learn while still being engaging!

I liked it. Once I turned the camera sensitivity all the way up the camera wasn't as much of an issue as it was when I played on mouse and keyboard. I know you were probably trying to not just be devil may cry but I think I would prefer to have the lock on be a button hold. I feel like for slower paced methodical combat like dark souls the toggle lock on works but in a more fast paced thing I found myself just not using it very often. Movement worked pretty well, I had no issue getting to places. I wasn't really sure what I was doing in the combat but hitting the button and watching the big punches was pretty neat. The art direction was also pretty cool, it had a variety of sets without them being non cohesive.

Good overall but felt like i was fighting the pov camera more than the enemy's, also some glitches and can get stuck in objects often. Still overall good

I enjoyed playing! I think my biggest gripe might be the jumping physics while in combat, i found that it was easy to jump over enemies and evade the combat all together, which is great for a button masher like me but i think this exploit takes away some of the challenge. other than that i thought the game looked great, and everything worked as intended, good game for the timeline given!!
