FOR MORE CARD AND BOARD GAMES FOLLOW US CARD GAME KING
Interesting, and decently doe blend of deckbuilding and light dice rolling, but anything outside of these two doesn't quite always hit the mark. To briefly describe the gameplay: During combat you place up to 3 bullets (cards) into your gun in order in which they will be played. Some cards require a dice roll which gets stronger the more bullets of that type there are. Outside of combat, you draft new cards, buy items and hunt monsters in any order you wish. The trick is that they grow stronger with time, and taking too long to get to the next monster or even taking too long to kill one, makes other stronger. You win if all monsters on the map are dead. The bullet order was an interesting idea, but outsdie of some specific effects, it usually didn't matter or the order was obvious. The deckbuilding is pretty much the most impactful component of the game and decently done, but the big issue here is that there is no way to remove cards (outside of some random events), which can be rather frustrating. Even more so when the game re…

Boogey Hunters is a strategic roguelike deck-building game developed by Keep The Engine Games and published by Rogue Duck Interactive alongside Gamersky Games. At its core, the game merges turn-based tactical combat with a unique ammunition-combination system that replaces traditional card mechanics. Instead of relying on spell cards or character abilities alone, players build attack sequences by assembling different types of bullets that determine the power and effects of each shot. This distinctive twist on the deck-building formula helps the game stand apart in a genre that has grown increasingly crowded over the years. The premise revolves around a supernatural crisis unfolding across the world. Mythical creatures drawn from folklore and urban legends have begun emerging in various regions, threatening humanity with destruction. These creatures, referred to as “boogeys,” are manifestations of ancient legends and cultural fears. Players assume the role of a professional hunter tasked with tracking these monsters across different countries and eliminating them before their power grows beyond control. Rather than focusing on a single storyline, the game frames its narrative throu…

Nope. No fun. None difficulty options, for accessibility or changing the time or even (be crazy) without a timing. And seems to have a trouble when closing the game with memory (after the game closed).

Nope. I'm suspecting most reviews are bots. This game is almost impossible to read and the gameplay is completely without balance.

Very cute looking game despite the theme! I'd love to see some more boogey designs.

Casual fun. Simple with depth. Some bugs, some issues at the edges, but if you're looking for a nice strategic casual roguelike to explore for a few hours - this can be it.
