Vampire Hunters

Love it.

I wish I could give the thumb's up, but when I reflect on all the hours I put in, I realized there's not much happening in this game. The way it works is great, FPS with infinitely spawning enemies. BUT.... because of the endless spawning there's really only 1 dimension of game play: pick your weapons and find a place where you can funnel as many enemies as possible into a path to get blasted. There's some upgrade stuff tacked on, but the game play experience is pretty flat. After the first 30 minutes you've seen it all. I never should have put this many hours in... Somehow watching enemies walk into my gunfire was fun and satisfying on some level.... but it's just not something I can really feel confident recommending. I like gameplay, and this is just a lot of standing there.

No more updates, so you stuck at 6 levels and it's every time the same. Nice idea of a game but lazy ass sucking Dev's for sure. Bad rating for too less content. Die zweite Nacht ist schon vorbei, ich hab noch was für Drei aber nicht für so wenig Maps.

This game is ridiculous and stupid. It's ridiculous and stupid and AWESOME! Just big dumb fun. And it is fun! Oh boy is it ever fun! I sat down to "give it a try" and 3 hours later I realized that it was well past my bedtime. I mean the devs have nailed what makes a game fun to play. It's not only got satisfying combat but they managed to drag in the "just one more turn" feeling from games like Civ. The game is constantly evolving as you play and as you start to get comfortable with the weapons and abilities it gets even deeper. If you have played Vampire Survivors it's that, but first person with verticality. I was honestly not expecting to like this game. I was so wrong. As of now, it's my go to game when I'm not gaming with friends. When I say it's stupid, I mean that it's stupid in the way a great carnival ride is stupid if that makes sense. You are playing this for the thrill, not for a story. It's not meme or slop stupid. The devs did their research on how a game like Vampire Survivors would work as an FPS and they knocked it out of the park! Best ending to a game ive seen in a long time.

Map design is very intuitive and thoughtfully crafted to mesh perfectly with gameplay. It's very satisfying to lure the angry mob through the halls and up the stairs only to hop down and scatter them all over again. Crafting a loadout feels so rewarding but you are still able to succeed just picking up what feels fun in the moment.
