Help Bum-bo recover his stolen coin by battling through a sewer full of twisted enemies in this puzzle-based deckbuilding roguelike where you collect, modify, and combo items to create powerful synergies. Edmund McMillen's quirky prequel to The Binding of Isaac features over 100 unique items, multiple playable characters, and challenging boss fights wrapped in darkly comedic storytelling.

Gameplay
The Legend of Bum-bo is a puzzle based "deckbuilding roguelike" by Edmund McMillen (The Binding of isaac, Super Meat Boy) and James Interactive, where players collect hordes of items that can be modified, upgraded and comboed with others in many interesting ways. Play as one of many Bum-bo, each with its own unique abilities, as they smash, bash and splash their way through a variety of cardboard monstrosities, giant bosses and dark personal urges...
oh also its the prequel to The Binding of Isaac!

Due to a lot..and mean A LOOOOT of bugs I wouldn't recommend getting it at least not in full price. I kinda enjoyed it because I love TBOI:R and its a spin off match 4 so you get the memo.3 found this helpful
BUMBO GOT COIN i wish this game had more attention i feel like the throbbing domain(from Mewgenics) would really fit in this game

Wasn't expecting to love this as much as I did, great game!
Good game, but definitely get it on sale. No where near the depth of other Ed McMillen games, but it's funny and a great distraction for a few hours. Humor is very meme-y.
