About Bot Battles
Bot Battles is a multiplayer online robotic combat arena game. Build your bot by selecting three abilities then enter the arena and fight against other bots. Be the last bot still standing at the end to win the game.
How to Play
Choose 3 abilities and map them to keys of your choice then click the "Play" button to join a game. Use your abilities to defeat other bots in the area to win. If the game goes on for too long the walls will start to close in forcing everyone together. After the game is over check out the replay or join another game.
Controls
WASD or arrow keys to move your bot. Mouse to aim. Map your abilities to 3 keys of your choice.
Ratings
Login to keep track of your stats and build your rating. Players are ranked using the ELO scoring system. Defeat players above you to improve your rating.
Strategies
Your strategy should depend on the abilities you choose. Some abilities are great for defense like the force field. Others are offensive like the projectiles. Others improve your mobility like teleport. Combine abilities together to create combos like EMP to drop your opponent's shield, health blasters to take down their health and teleport to get close to them or to escape. Try out different combinations and see what works.

"Bot Battles" is a weird one... originally a playerless PvP top down arena shooter with minimalist graphics and zero reason for anyone to want to play it, the developer weirdly swapped out the entire game with a playerless PvP top down slow moving tactical strategy game. This raises the question... if the developer changes the backing code for a completely crap game and replaces it with another completely crap game, and no players ever bother to download it, did the code really change? Nobody knows. This game features very lacklustre minimalist "art" for graphics instead of anything remotely contemporary. I'm sure the "developer" thought this would come across as "artistic", but it doesn't, it comes across as "really lazy" and looks bad as a result of their lack of interest in doing their job properly. Developers must try to understand that gaming is a visual medium, and gamers spend a lot of money on high end gaming rigs for a reason. And that reason is not so they can look at lazy, phoned-in half efforts like this. Not every "free" game really is. There's often MTX, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or any other number of things that could misle…2 found this helpful

bro what happened it used to be so fun but now it isnt the same game whatsoever, it turned into a "slow strategy game" and its bad
