There's a lot of good things about this game but it's all overshadowed by every mechanic trying to draw out your time. It is insanely grindy and it really doesn't need to be, I am 16 hours in and feel like I am only 20% of the way through. Could have been much harder with a lot less fights and it would have been far better off for it, but the way this is balanced you pretty much just mindlessly bash your ♥♥♥♥ against some other ♥♥♥♥ and then numbers go up but then you get capped so nothing really matters. Got here because of Chained Beasts, which looks sick as ♥♥♥♥, so go check that out.2 found this helpful
I really like the game and wish I could recommend it, but there are game breaking problems that ive notice. The game started on mobile and was designed for mobile, and you can tell by the grind in the steam version. The mobile version was a paid game with microtransactions that were forced upon you unless you want to keep grinding the same areas over and over. Scrap (used to upgrade your bots) is hard to find and youre supposed to use the microtransaction shop to get more scrap, or spend hours grinding the same areas over and over. getting new bots also requires scrap after you find the blueprints (also available in the Microtransaction shop). Did I forget to mention that theres no microtransaction shop on the steam version? Thats ok, because theres still a shop but it requires coins (the in game currency) that are extremely hard to find unless you get them from quests. Use your coins sparingly because you dont get that many and they are used as a pay in to compete in the arena. Unfortunately you cant avoid the arena to lvl up your boat house to upgrade your character. The game should have been adjusted for steam. Its a good game but its a grind and if you can sit thought the gr…2 found this helpful
Superior to the mobile version in almost every aspect. No microtransactions, no timegates, simple botframe & skin farming, and far less grinding overall. Though the only thing that hasn't changed is the ridiculous amount of enemy spawns If you're hesitant on purchasing the game then play the demo or the mobile game to see whether or not you like it as the core gameplay loop has not changed between versions.2 found this helpful
Botworld Odyssey takes the familiar concept of collecting companions and transforms it into an engaging adventure that blends exploration, strategy, and automated combat. Developed and published by Featherweight Games, the title invites players into a vibrant world populated by mechanical creatures known as bots, where becoming a skilled Botmaster requires far more than simply assembling the strongest team. Instead, success comes from understanding each bot's unique role, experimenting with team compositions, and exploring a lively open world filled with discoveries. The game manages to balance accessibility with meaningful depth, making it appealing to both casual players and fans of tactical RPGs. The adventure unfolds across a variety of colorful regions, each offering its own atmosphere, wildlife, hidden paths, and valuable resources. Whether wandering through forests, crossing deserts, climbing icy mountains, or venturing into tropical environments, exploration constantly rewards curiosity. Chests, hidden collectibles, rare blueprints, and useful crafting materials encourage players to leave the main path and thoroughly investigate every location. This design creates a satisf…
Game is alr
A relaxing waste of time. There's really no other way to phrase it. An auto battler in which you have very small amount of actions in order to change the outcome of a fight. It all comes down to grinding and seeing your minions getting stronger. With gacha like dailies to complete in order to get stronger. Play it if you like what you are reading. I enjoy it, but definitely it's an OK game and nothing more.
