About Auto Adventures
Auto Adventures is a free asynchronous PvP hero builder that combines the strategic decision making of a rogue-like with auto-battles against other players. Throughout your adventure you will choose items and skills to make the strongest hero you can while auto-battling other players until you achieve 10 victories, or die trying! This game features:
- Hundreds of unique items each with different abilities and effects. Choose items that synergize well with each other to create crazy powerful heroes!
- Dozens of different monster encounters. Defeat monsters to take their items! Find rare and powerful items from strong monsters.
- Several different archetypes of items, and skill stats for each. When you level up, choose to allocate your stat points to become better at using certain kinds of items.
- Asynchronous PVP: During each round you make choices to improve your character, such as buying items or defeating monsters. At the end of each round you then auto-battle against another player's character in a PvP matchup. We use an asynchronous match-making system which means that you can take as long (or as short!) as you want to make your turn. There are no round time limits.
- A globally shared item pool: When players use an item, that item becomes rarer and will show up in shops less often. This system automatically ensures that over-powered and popular items will stop appearing, thereby keeping the meta fresh and dynamic.

Played a bit, but i always ended up getting ended off by bugs such as the arrow being greyed off and you can't do anything or items not going onto the board and starts growing bigger for each click till they vanish, and your layout is forever bugged. Secondly, it would be nice with some in-depth info such as what is categorized as items aswell as magic, i imagined magic expertise would increase the fire damage of a minion but that wasn't the case. some items increases item haste but that doesn't apply to all items etc. so better overview of what does what would be nice. Otherwise this game seems promising if the bugs gets hammered out, aswell as potentially a penalty for dying, since as it is now, you just go till the bugs ends you.1 found this helpful
There are still bugs that the updates claimed to have fixed. But the game is still somewhat playable. Things like cards getting larger, unable to snap properly, the matches being unable to proceed, the resign button disappearing entirely, etc. The game itself is interesting. However, there are unfortunate obvious metas and hard counters against certain playstyles, so you'll only ever be playing up to 3 different playstyles if you're expecting to win. But all in all, not worth playing long term.
Its not a bad time waster, if it had some customisation and maybe had a purpose for gems it could be more roguelite/like. There are some pretty powerful combos, that you have a hard time from using time and time again, because it is is the meta everyone seems to use, also maybe add a 1v1 mode where you play alongside another player, ie, same pathing you have now, but 2 players can follow same line at the same time with a dynamic turn timer, so you fight one another each time instead of a player avatar bot, that could lead to some pretty intense games and would bring a huge following, just a thought, feel free to hook me up with the a few cool micro transactions if you get that mode rolling lol.
Items get bigger and eventually fill up the entire screen when you click on them. Also, cards tend to not stay on the deck so you cant really play the game. Funny game
