About BOXHEAD:Immortal
✦ AI summary
Boxhead: Immortal is a third-person cartoon shooter where you gun down endless zombie hordes using firearms, explosives, and environmental hazards across solo, co-op, and multiplayer modes. The game blends the classic Flash series' nostalgic gameplay with bold new features like character roles with unique skills, rogue-like elements, and a story-driven campaign filled with mutant bosses and destructible environments.
A certain zombie virus arrived on BOXHEAD World with a meteorite that fell by chance, causing the cells of many people with Type B blood to merge with the virus, quickly turning them into zombies. To survive in this purgatorial world, you must unleash every bullet into the hordes of the zombies and use any explosive objects at your disposal to drench every inch of the land in blood.

This game is made possible with the previous work of Sean Cooper and the sponsorship of Crazy Monkey Games and the previous Boxhead is a series of highly acclaimed classic Flash games. Moreover, our team has polished details of the maps and unique game features for your best gaming experience. In game, players can use firearms, oil buckets, and grenades to intensify the battle between humans and zombies. The game includes single player, multiplayer, as well as P2P multiplayer LAN connection. The game includes three game modes: Classic Mode, Endless Mode, and Campaign Mode. Perhaps what many will consider to be a 'forgotten gem' of the Flash gaming days of old, the Boxhead series presents a simple yet charming premise of controlling a cuboid-shaped human (a mixture between Minecraft and Roblox before either became as popular as they are today) who is tasked with gunning down as many zombies as possible in the pursuit of achieving as high of a score as one can manage. Interestingly enough this wasn't the original goal for the first entry that started it all, Boxhead (a Halloween Special), as that was mainly focused on rescuing and protecting citizens from the zombies. The later games (The Rooms, More Rooms, 2Play Rooms, The Zombie Wars & the Nightmare) would instead pivot towards the killing of zombies being the prime focus of their future titles as it can not be understated how satisfying it was to destroy the increasing hordes of zombies whilst also dealing with new deadly threats, including their 'mascot' in the form of the devil that served as a powerful foe capable of throwing fire balls as ranged attacks and others like runners, vampires and mummies that forced the player to handle combat situations differently. All of this to say that, despite…24 found this helpful
Abandon. No updates or announcements in ages, and their discord is dead. Extremely limited content, a shell of what you remember from the flash games. I do not recommend. MONEY GRAB.5 found this helpful
Ah memories to back when we used to have IT lessons in school. This game hits that nostalgia hard. It works very well as a game. The only thing I request the devs add is proper controller support. I played it on my steam deck and it’s fine as there’s only like 9 controls in total including pause so it’s easy to map but it’s just feel a little bit more polished.
Beautiful game absolute master piece from my childhood elementary school days if you don't own this game get it. I was broke, full of hatred, and a bum who did nothing all day... that is until I played this game after years of not playing it. BUY THIS GAME it will change you for the better
