✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the solid roguelike foundation with satisfying graphics, strong performance, and an interesting upgrade system that scales well, but the game suffers from significant technical and design issues that undermine the experience. Major complaints center on poor controller implementation (unintuitive menu navigation, inability to cancel selections), game-breaking bugs (crashing when leveling up too high), unclear tooltip information, and balance problems where the game becomes trivially easy after about ten minutes, eliminating the tension that makes roguelikes engaging. I like these rouge games that you play, die, upgrade, get better, try again and repeat. This game does that. What I liked: - The graphics - Solid 144 fps, even when a lot happened on screen at the same time - Sound made it feel impactful - Interesting upgrade system. Thin at the beginning but after one has finished or died, you can upgrade to include more stuff to upgrade. - The "!" events are a nice addition as it makes the player have to move in order to not take damage. It starts easy but the events are increasing in as the time goes on. Things I think can be worked on: - after about 10 minutes (first round playing) I felt too overpowered. I one-shot anything and leveling up wasn't something I wished to happen anymore. It became very much less interesting. - There are no volume sliders when you are in-game when pressing 'esc'. Would be nice to have. My ideas on what could make the game more fun/interesting: - Almost every upgrade I came across has a trade-off - according to me it shouldn't be for the majority of the upgrades. Having a trade-off should be that IF you have a typical play-style in mind that should be in the upgrades. Let me make it clear what I mean: Let say you…

This dev had a horseshoe where the sun dont shine and still managed to mess this game up. He had on the same day, 4 of the most die hard players of survivor games ever....in his forum. We are known all around the boards, own millions of games collectively, and have most of this genre's games. Some of us have curation status even. But this dev has managed also to do the one thing no one we have ever seen done. Not even once. Use the gamepad in an alien, backwards way. The right side...ABY and X buttons...are used to navigate. Yep...you dont use the joysticks. If you accidently move the wrong way in the menu or game, or level up too high, or even speak too loud as you try to figure out movement....(not lying my toddler called for me a bit too loudly and the game freaked out and shut down)it just refuses to work with you and crashes. Terrible game, terrible dev...he whined in the forum about how it doesnt matter and he is giving up cause his game flopped. Well...any game would flop if a developer made something this terrible. He needs to re-roll his career choice or hobby choice and do something he is good at. I think he will be happier that way. Refunded game.

Sigh, so where I start. I have a very mixed feeling with this game. It have a strange art style, what not so appealing, but I start to like it. The gameplay is fluid and fun. It have a good concept as on levelup you build up weapons with parts as also you can get extra useful gadgets, then you can get some items with passive stats. It have some meta progress as you can buy more characters, weapons and gadgets for your arsenal. The real problem is that the weapons, items and character stats is screwed. So you build your weapons, but the result is totaly random and unknown as the tooltips are bugged. I give it a Positive for now, because of the good gameplay as also the Dev was helpful and fast fixed other reported problems. I somewhat support him, lets hope his next game will be more polished. I recommend Zombie Exterminator on a good sale.

It's hard to make a game not even worth $3, but this somehow manages that incredible feat. Somehow this is one of the most incompetently made VS-likes I've ever played. Imagine having controller support but not having the menus be navigable with the d-pad or left stick. What? Imagine not being able to cancel an accidental selection you made because of the incomprehensible navigation. What?? IMAGINE THE GAME CRASHING BECAUSE YOU LEVELED UP TOO HIGH. WHAT? I actively dislike this game. Ive played broken games that are less irritating than this. I only wish I have played it earlier so I could still refund it. And I haven't even gotten to the fact that even if it were competently made it would still be a pass because it's not any fun. There are literally 100+ better choices to play than this. Stay far away
