Burger Shift: Team Rush

So.. I WILL recommend this game, but only just. I agree with the other reviews that say the workers don't help. For instance, my "stocker", when the truck pulled up... pulled out MAYBE 5 items?? I know it's just an NPC, but I can pull out near half the truck in the time it took him to do 5. Maybe an in game "speed stat" issue, but either way. THEN when he did the 5 things, he says "Boy, time for a break" like.. what? Dev, if you're reading these reviews, idc if the workers are suffering from being slow, but for everything that is dear in this world, just make them work ALL day. I get the realness factor of taking a lunch/a break/whatever, but like... they can't be slow AND not work all day. If you want to make it more realistic then these types of people wouldn't even be capable of keeping their jobs. Another misleading factor is the "patience" meter. You can make the customers have "unlimited patience". With no capable workers and just myself and sure, maybe on a more consistent customer schedule, I went into 9pm (21:00 in game time) and after awhile you get a countdown for the customers threatening to leave. Why do you let me make a custom adjustment to patience if it does…

I do not recommend this game. There are so many things going on that it quickly becomes overwhelming, and some of the mechanics just don’t seem worth using. For example, hiring a cook feels completely pointless. He cooks food that isn’t needed, which ends up costing the restaurant money rather than helping it. For me, that makes the game more frustrating than fun. I’d recommend skipping this one and checking out Fast Food Simulator instead. It’s a few years old, but the developers are still regularly updating it, and it feels like a much better use of your time.
