Who could have guessed that internal human anatomy was a mid 90's glowstick rave? Biology is fascinating. 10/10

Ignoring the playful opening and ending, the game itself is actually quite good. The excellent combat feel and controls, deep build variety, and the interactions between different organelles kept me playing the DEMO for nearly 100 hours. However, the main problem lies in the beginning and the ending, which weaken the sense of purpose built throughout the game. The UI, music, and overall system design consistently create the feeling of a professional biological experiment, but the story does not follow through with that direction, creating a clear disconnect between the gameplay and the narrative. Especially the virus editing interface: the body temperature, pulse, and various biological parameters made me believe that I was participating in a simulation of a human environment and conducting virus research. The process of modifying virus traits, observing results, and optimizing builds feels like a serious scientific experiment. However, the opening cutscene already tells the player that they are simply a virus that accidentally entered a human body. After spending hours researching, modifying, and evolving the virus, what exactly are all those experimental parameters supposed to…

I played several hours of the demo and have been waiting for the game to drop. So glad its finally here. The gameplay fun, music is addicting, love the customization of my parasite. (I like going melee) I highly recommend anyone to buy this game. It is so well made.

Awesome fun game. Great particle effects. Good music. Looks amazing/ runs amazing on steam deck. Aside from a slight slowdown when lots of things are on the screen, very minor. ehhhh for the evolutions I don't find myself choosing to evolve alot of the times. Almost seems like a direct negative most of the time. Bigger fatter and slower means you're more likely to get hit. Maybe make the cell more jelly like and able to slim down during movement, would allow for some neat feeling dodges.
