OPUS: Prism Peak is a beautiful looking game with excellent music and what seems to be a good story, completely dismantled by an absolute slog of gameplay design. It's unfortunate, too, because I really do think it looks and sounds so good, and the story kinda got me hooked, but then the actual gaming part of this game just ruins all that. Ok, imagine this, imagine you are playing a detective game. Imagine you are at a train station looking for clues. Now, in the world of Prism Peak, not only are there 20 clues to find in ever single tiny area, but you can't just find them and read the note or whatever, no you have to take pictures of those clues and then play mini games, mostly matching games but also de-coding hieroglyphs, etc. Then and only then do you get these fragmented ideas that - I would hope - eventually make sense by the end. I am not kidding when I say this trailer may look like a fun adventure with a man and a girl he has to help, but the actual game here is take 5,000 photos and then play 5,000 minigames assigned to each one. This is so peak. This story make me cry like a women and graphics are top-notch with good anime art style 9/10 but if I don't get all of the achievements, or else the shade will erase my memories and I'm not gonna be happy. :(1 found this helpful

Very good walking sim with a few more gameplay mechanics than other games in the genre. Weight down by mediocre voice direction in english, a few oddly translated / overly cryptic hints and stiff facial animations on a lot of the characters. DEFINETLY NOT FOR EVERYONE. There's a reason the protagonist is 40.
