Burn Me Twice

It would be an amazing game if it wasn't so buggy.

The game is so cool, I loved the story and the gameplay, but it has so many bugs that I gave up on continue playing. I complete various missions and puzzles, suddenly there's a bug that stops me from continuing, I have to restart the game and, for some reason, it erases all my previous completed missions. It's a shame. I'd love to finish it, but by the 5th time this happened my patience is over.

You can’t beat free to play first of all. But second of all, this is a fun game and a pretty art style. I’m actually surprised it’s free. Is it perfect? No. However, I had a great time with it and it’s great for the eerie Fall ambience if you’re wanting that type of game. It does make you sort of wander around with no direction, but I think that’s what also makes it fun. You take your time and just enjoy the experience. Or you can always look up a walkthrough to speed things up if you get annoyed on having no clear direction. Overall, I’d recommend. You may experience some bugs, I was lucky and didn’t, but again…it’s free. So I personally can overlook the bug potential and no clear direction bits. It’s not such a big deal anyway, at least not in my play through. Played on steam deck and it ran smoothly.

I think the game had good potential. The lack of direction could be tedious at times and like others said, you could get soft locked if you're not careful. I really wanted to like this game, but after the third trial when you encounter the first skeleton as someone else said, a game breaking glitch you can't kill it. So I can't recommend this cute game unfortunately. I really wanted to finish this game too, such a bummer. :/

Игра 'Burn Me Twice' – это захватывающее приключение в мрачной итальянской деревне, где суеверия и подозрения захлестнули разум людей. Сюжет, вдохновленный реальными историческими событиями, держит в напряжении от начала и до конца. Мне очень понравилась атмосфера: тщательно проработанные локации, жутковатый саундтрек и постоянное ощущение надвигающейся опасности создают эффект полного погружения. Головоломки логичные и в меру сложные, заставляют поломать голову, но не вызывают раздражения. Персонажи хорошо прописаны, каждый со своим характером и мотивами. Особенно интересно следить за взаимоотношениями главной героини с жителями деревни, ведь от твоих действий зависит, кому можно доверять, а кто плетет заговор. Единственный небольшой минус – временами встречается некоторая монотонность в геймплее, когда приходится долго искать определенный предмет. В остальном же, 'Burn Me Twice' – это отличный пример сюжетно-ориентированной хоррор-игры, способной увлечь на несколько часов и оставить после себя приятные впечатления. Рекомендую всем любителям атмосферных приключений и тайн!

A game about a witch that has to go for a trial and was burned, but she gets a second chance to make things right by some sort of entity that can turn back time. The control is using keyboards mainly, and the aim is to find clues to prove your innocence and find the persons responsible for the happenings in the game, after the entity has rewind time for you. The game is mainly interacting with people and looking for clues, with minimal puzzle that involves you searching for items needed to unlock certain doors, and there is also the trial in which you need to provide correct clues to win the trial. At one point in the game there is a stealth mode as well as a fighting mode, which can get a bit annoying at certain times if you don't know what to do, but mostly easy i guess [spoiler]the part at the second chef scene had me stressed cuz i kept getting caught be the moving chef, and the field of vision is not really obvious in the dark scene so it's hard to see where i'm supposed to hide to avoid getting caught[/spoiler] Artwork is cute and the colors fit the theme of the game nicely, though the game does have elements of gore a bit but it's not really shown in an explicit manner [sp…
