Escape the Smoky Intrigue of a Hometown Inferno!
A local contest turns into an arson scene and now deceit smolders among the charred ruins of the River Heights Town Hall. Police have several suspects, but well-placed incriminating evidence and poisonous local gossip compelled authorities to make only one arrest: Nancy Drew. Can you, as the teenage detective and her closest friends, catch the real arsonist and extinguish the accusations among the embers?

I love the small town Americana charm of this game which is so very Nancy Drew! Alibi in Ashes has a really interesting game mechanic where you get to play as Nancy, Ned, Bess and George all the while switching between the four to solve the mystery together. The supporting characters are interesting and it was pretty cool getting to explore River Heights. It'd be nice to get to play as the main four again in a future game. Definitely recommend!
This was one of my favorite ND games. Nancy being in jail was a fun twist and relying on her friends to solve things around town was pretty fun! Towards the end I needed to use the walkthrough a couple times as it wasn't obvious how to proceed, but overall I would recommend this one!
This one seems to leave people with mixed opinions but I really enjoyed it. If you like the investigative games rather than puzzle-heavy ones this is a lot of fun.
I have almost all of the Nancy games through steam, but I won't be purchasing anymore through here. At one point or another all the games functioned as they should, then steam did an update a while ago and now most of the games I have I can not play, some games just won't simply load or give me an error when they do. I have spent hours and days looking online to try and solve the issues I'm having, to no avail. I'm not sure if others are also having this issue as most of the time others are able to resolve it. So it's not that I'm not recommending the Nancy games. I am simply not recommending purchasing them here on steam from my experience. All the Nancy games are fun, exciting and fulfilling.
