It is early acces, so there are bugs, but they are not game breaking. Amount of objects you can use is still quite low, but you get almost daily updates that add a few. And you can give your input on the discord which objects will be added in the future. But besides the little bugs it is a really fun game. You can create your own Carnaval Parade with animatronix and light shows. And especially the animatronix make this game different than other games in the building genre. Although it is very focussed on Dutch Carnaval, using the basic forms you can already make very nice builds in every theme you like.6 found this helpful

Carnaval Simulator is a creative sandbox simulation developed and published by JBA Software Development that centers entirely on one vibrant concept: designing, managing, and showcasing elaborate carnival parade floats. Rather than focusing on traditional business management or city-building systems, the game carves out a niche space in the simulation genre by immersing players in the spectacle and craftsmanship behind large-scale festival parades. Inspired by real-world carnival traditions known for their theatrical floats, bold colors, and communal celebration, the game transforms what is typically a background element of festivals into the main interactive experience. At its core, Carnaval Simulator revolves around a surprisingly detailed float-building editor. Players are given a broad selection of props, decorative elements, lighting options, and animated components that can be resized, rotated, recolored, and layered with precision. This system encourages experimentation and creativity, allowing players to construct floats ranging from realistic festival-inspired displays to wildly imaginative creations that push beyond tradition. The interface aims to balance accessibility …
Fun game about building floats! It is still quite in it's early state as there's only one map available, but I already a lot of fun trying out different floats with my friends. Game looks a bit goofy at daytime, but at night (especially when also adding light shows), the game manages to simulate the amazing shows of the parade of Zwammegat (Standdaarbuiten) very well. Really looking forward to future updates from the dev as I think this game has quite some potential!
