Overview of game
Fight the bosses and save the king. In this top down shooter your goal is to go through each of the three bosses and save the king! You'll have to be careful though because each time you die you restart from the beginning. With 3 health and bosses that you can't touch, have fun trying to get through this challenging top down shooter. Try and save the King from a skeleton, ogre and dragon!
Gameplay
You have 3 health. Your health resets each level. Be careful and don't run into enemies or you'll have to start from the beginning!

"Castle Champion" is certainly a contender for one of the worst games ever made, and if it didn't come out in 2021 I would have said the whole thing was vibe coded. Maybe this was put on Steam as a joke? What do you do in the game? It's an incredibly 2D top down shooter with a "boss fight" theme and some of the most horrifically bad graphics ever to assault the gaming industry. This feels more like a tech demo or a project smacked together hurriedly to try make a kind of minimum viable product just good enough to pass the developers unambitious idea and shove it into Steam Direct to see if you can actually pay $100 and publish junk through Steam Direct. Yeah, you can. Is this good for gamers? Nope. The graphics here are particularly awful, inconsistently sized pixelcrap/MS-Paint sprites, so bad that it actually stands out as one of the worst looking games on Steam. Quite an accomplishment. It's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost.
