About Killer Chambers
Killer Chambers is an action-platformer/memory-game hybrid. You must survive in small rooms filled with traps until one turn of the hourglass.
Beware, even if you're hit only once you die! Can you hold out against an unforgiving bullet-hell in a narrow space?
Nothing is left to chance, every trap pattern is made to be challenging yet fun to solve but quick reflexes alone will not be enough to survive.
Arm yourself with masochistic persistence and good (muscle) memory, the King's Crown awaits you!

What Steam players say

Players praise the game's quality and design, particularly if you enjoy platformers and memorization-based challenges, though the length can feel extended due to difficulty spikes in later levels. However, many find the core gameplay frustrating, citing heavy reliance on memorization over fair reaction-based mechanics, which leads to deaths feeling unfair and cheap since players often die from not knowing what's coming rather than executing poorly. Additional complaints include repetitive, silent level design that lacks engaging music during actual gameplay.
It's honestly a very well made game, but I just personally find the core gameplay mechanic to be not fun. It is game that forces you to memorize. There is a reaction element to some extent, but eventually you will hit your limit of what you can react to and that is when it becomes about memorization and the game no longer becomes fun, at least for me personally. All of the deaths ultimately end up feeling like "cheap" deaths, which are always the worst kind of deaths in games. You don't die because you did it wrong necessarily, its more that you died because you didn't know and there is no way you could have known ahead of time. All games have this to some extent, but that is literally all this game is. Maybe if the game somehow implemented a Tetris style "preview" screen where the game showed you ahead of time what the next sequence was going to be, then the game would be less about memorization. But this would be super hard to implement in a way that could be useful. Overall again, I just want to say again that the game is extremely well made for what it is. I personally just do not enjoy the primary gameplay loop of die, memorize, repeat. Its not a matter of difficulty, becau…4 found this helpful
The game is very fun, although slightly short if you don't account for the amount of tries you'll need to beat the last few levels, recommended if you like platformers/memorization games3 found this helpful

at least play music if your levels are going to be a boring repetitive guessing game limbo. don't disrespect me with silence in the actual levels and only music in the level select map1 found this helpful
