I LOVE THIS GAME!!! Chex has changed my life in more ways than I can explain. If I had to pick one game to play while gooning, it would have to be this. No other game has made edging as easy as this. In conclusion 100/10 We miss you Jesper R.I.P.

It's a fancy way to play hexagon chess but there are probably better free versions out there. Can only choose white, no music generally minimalist game wait till you can choose black or white and release the ranked mode that's 'coming soon' recommended it. Edit: When you Promote a pawn, You get another turn to do whatever you want. No where in the store page does it say this.

Chex takes one of the oldest and most recognizable strategy games and reshapes its familiar rules around a hexagonal battlefield. Developed by KonsolKongen and JayJay and published by Stuen, this free-to-play single-player board game is based on Gliński's hexagonal chess variant. Rather than loading the experience with progression systems or unnecessary extras, it focuses almost entirely on the strategic consequences of changing the traditional chessboard into a field of hexagonal spaces. It is a simple concept on paper, but the altered geometry produces enough unfamiliar situations to make experienced chess players reconsider instincts they may have developed over years of conventional play. The hexagonal board is the defining feature and the reason the game feels meaningfully different from ordinary chess. Each piece maintains its own movement characteristics, but six-sided spaces create additional directions and unusual lines of attack. Players must account for threats that would never exist on a conventional square board.
