This was a fun little collection of storys. I just finished getting all the achievements. If I had to rate the story's, in my opinion, I would rank them as The Seed>The Cloud>The Headshot>Speak, Lord. As much as I enjoyed this, I feel I should drop a warning here. The game was running my cpu and gpu pretty hard. I believe the frames are uncapped, but it only seemed to affect me with some of the games, like "Speak, Lord". I suggest capping framerate externally if it's an option for you. As another warning, "Speak, Lord" should really have a seizure warning. I don't suffer from such things but typing in the wrong answer to the text prompt in that game leads to one of the brightest, flashiest screens I've seen in a game in a fair while. If anyone wants to know the correct word to type in, it's
Prayer
.2 found this helpful
Great game for PC and steam deck
This is a great game with multiple endings, choices and paths. It's been a wild ride to play through a lot of them, especially at such a reasonable price. It works brilliantly on my steam deck! Also people should note that it doesn't support 16:10 aspect ratios because the game's art would be ruined otherwise. but it's been a pleasure. absolutely worth picking it up1 found this helpful
Good variety of disturbing visual novels
DEVS PLEASE READ THIS I do enjoy the games included (so far i have gone through 1,5 of them) and the price is fair in my eyes, but a glaring issue is starting to arise... its getting extremely tiresome to play. I am well aware that these are story games but having to speed through the story to choose a different option is tiresome, take for example the second game (the seed). Furthermore you can get extremely easily lost when it comes to the ending you have unlocked, thus if u want to see all of the endings you are more likely/forced to just follow one path and see all ending from that path and THEN move to the next. This combined with the aforementioned repetition of having to click once to skip all the text and the click again to be given an option to follow and then clicking the option makes the game extremely tiresome (because you know what the text says and the options you are choosing). These issues could be easily fixed by making a road-map and allowing the player to just start from any point of the map (as an example use the game: Henry stickman)
Thanks to the usage of Bright, yet ominous colours and the Artstyle used, as well as the usage of very limited SFX and songs, the four games included in this bundle manages to find a different, equally unique way to on the edge, yet somehow keep you invested, thanks to all the different endings the game has, where they all have quite a lot.
Update: The developer listened and fixed the most glaring issue of uncapped FPS, as well as adding a simple menu for when you're playing one of the games. Thus, even though I still feel the game lacks a few more polishing tweaks, I'll give it a thumbs up and encourage everyone to experience the games, so far I've only tried "The Cloud" and "The Seed" and while interesting, I feel like I won't chase all endings. I still feel there should be a Gallery menu or something to see all unlocked endings. But overall is a nice indie experience and recommend people to try the game.
