About Abyssal Frontier

!!!THIS GAME HAS BODY HORROR, GORE AND TRYPOPHOBIA WARNING!!!
You're just a normal Captain, trying to finish your cargo run and earn some well-deserved shore leave.
Your crew is solid, even if you have a newbie onboard. You've done this dozens of times.

Oh? A new toy to play with.

All you have to do is visit this last outpost, and you'll be done for a good, long, while.
One more jump.
One more Sale.

We'll see about that.

After all, this is just a normal run...

Features:
  • Voice Acting
  • Handdrawn Backgrounds and Art
  • Amazing Soundtrack by the talented Keno Nifty!
  • Time Loop Mechanics
  • Multiple Endings
  • A Dating Sim Mode?Of course not. That would be silly

Loosely inspired by Junji Ito's "Hellstar Remina", this game immerses you in a nightmare where an eldritch planet hungers for your very essence. Will you succumb to the insidious influence of the eldritch planet, or can you find a way to break free from the cyclical nightmare?

This game was more interesting than I though it would be. Each of the first couple of loops were just different enough to make me want to get to the next loop and the final loop was crazy. The sheer amount of ways it can end was insane and I still want to keep playing to see all the endings. The horror is light, even the body horror is kinda tame. It honestly was just a fun game, hope they make more

Abyssal Frontier is an interesting sci-fi visual novel with time travel mechanics. While I had to look up some help in order to get some endings, the way the game was played ensured that no ending was ever out of reach! There were only a couple of notable bugs - those being a missing image file for one of the horror scenes, and an achievement being unfortunately bugged (At least on my end), but it still does well at telling a fleshed-out story with sympathetic characters, varied endings, and if you can find it, a section that can make you lose your head laughing. Overall, 8/10, would 100% again! (If it weren't for that bugged achievement lol)
