The undead are coming — and standing still isn’t an option.In Chronocide, you fight back against massive undead hordes in third-person combat, combining fast-paced action with trap-based defense. Build deadly setups, trigger physics-driven chaos, and survive wave after wave using both skill and teamwork.Every run is about experimentation:
Set traps, lure enemies, knock them into hazards, and watch your plans either succeed brilliantly… or collapse in hilarious disaster.Whether you’re holding the line alone or coordinating with friends, survival depends on smart positioning, timing, and creative use of your tools.

Coordinate defenses - Then improvise when everything falls apart.

The base game will contain the first 3 acts which is the main story arc.
As you progress through the acts, more traps, weapons and other items will be available.

This game has been a lot of fun so far. The characters all feel unique, and Anthia is easily my favorite. There's also a surprising amount of upgrades and progression, and the combat feels satisfying. The game can be pretty challenging solo though, and I definitely struggled at times. I love the graphics, the old-school look has a lot of charm, and the lore has been interesting enough to keep me curious about the world. Looking forward to seeing how the game develops during Early Access!6 found this helpful

Really fun indie co-op game with satisfying trap setups and chaotic fights. Every character feels different, and experimenting with builds/traps is what keeps me coming back. Definitely challenging, but pulling off a perfect defense with friends feels great.1 found this helpful

Make your way through increasingly tougher enemies as one of four characters with each unique abilities, Chronocide offers 1-4 player co-op but today we'll just be running solo. Let me preface this by saying I wish Steam had a "Informational" review option as they do for their curators. I don't think this game is bad, but I also can't recommend it to solo-only players. Please read my review before judging the game! [b] First thoughts [/b] Right off the bat we're greeted with an arcade-style menu with Runescape-esque player models and graphics to beat. The character selection menu offers promise of personalised loadouts. The animations are nowhere near godly, but they have a charm to them. So does the voice-acting which is clunky enough to convince me it's generated but not that I'm sure of it. As there's no disclaimer, I'm going to assume it's humans who've never spoken to humans before. Also Mike, buddy, don't point guns at yourself when introducing your character, this is how you get killed. [b] Combat/game tutorial [/b] I'm met with font a little too small for my bad eyes to read, the italicised font is a challenge to comprehend and colour on colour confliction. I would real…
