Personally enjoyed the game and changes made to the series more than others have ; especially to do with the barricades. I played 90% multiplayer and completed it entirely. It does feel slightly incomplete which wasn't a problem when updates were coming out quarterly. There has been no updates for a while now and it appears like they developer has dropped it.4 found this helpful
in short: it's a worthy successor to OMD 1, 2, and 3. If you give the game a chance to shine, it really does. It was a little confusing to get into at first: one example was when my boys and I were running around the Order Fortress to find the trap vendor instead of the traditional OMD style of just clicking your spellbook from the main menu. Another thing that was daunting was getting ~200 skulls on our first mission, only to find that upgrades costs tens of thousands of skulls. It turns out you need to chain a number of missions together in something called a "gamble," and then you end up with way more skulls than you'll ever need.1 found this helpful
game just doesn't run well. has crashes even with low settings
Agree that Its different than orcs 3. But cannot understand the hate this game caught. Its a master piece of his own. All traps (even adapted version of the war scenarios ones) are there, there is a skill tree for your character and all characters are quite fun to play, especially knowing you can combine 4 of them in the same party. If you enjoy(ed) orcs 3, this one its on that level or even better.
It is pretty fun.
I enjoy it
