About Cions of Vega

Your daughter Leila ran away from home, so you're going after her to find where she's hiding. Your brother, Logan, accompanies you throughout your journey. There will be times he'll help you, and other times he'll be telling you about stuff.

Some parents in the town have vanished and their children don't remember them. It's time to search inside the houses and look for clues. May it be related to the cult that's threatening the folk around the area? Every house has a gate near it, and those gates were locked. You'll have to find their keys in order to proceed.

Cions of Vega offers a mystery story by cinematic experience with the help of advanced graphics, dramatic music, and immersive sound design. It is not a relaxing experience but slightly thrilling in a couple of moments.

In the game you search for clues inside houses and some other locations about where your daughter may have been to. You find notes, drawings, interact with some characters, and observe the environmental story-telling. There are some small puzzles, some objects & clues you'll have to find, a little bit of casual platforming, a very easy QTE part... The game generally offers basic interactions.

Save progression: The game saves progress each time you unlock a new gate.

PS: The core aspect of this game is the atmosphere. It is recommended for those who mostly seek to experience the mood.

Cions of Vega, developed and published by Tonguç Bodur, is a narrative-driven exploration game that blends elements of mystery, walking simulation, and environmental storytelling into a slow-paced, introspective experience. Set in a quiet rural landscape filled with forests, abandoned houses, and unsettling silences, the game places you in the role of a father named Kenny, who embarks on a journey with his brother Logan to find his missing daughter, Leila. What begins as a simple search soon evolves into a psychological and atmospheric exploration of loss, family, and the strange forces that have unsettled the small, isolated town. From the first moments, Cions of Vega establishes its tone through its world rather than dialogue or action. The environments are the game’s greatest strength—dense with fog, sunlight filtering through trees, reflections on calm lakes, and distant sounds that bring the world to life. Every location feels lonely yet grounded, creating a sense of realism that heightens the game’s emotional impact. The quiet ambience and deliberate pacing make exploration feel meditative, even as the tension beneath the surface slowly builds. The absence of bustling NPCs o…

A moody, mysterious little walking sim about searching for your daughter. The atmosphere carries the whole experience, it's melancholy, quiet, and beautiful all the way through. It’s short, but the story lingers with you long after it ends..

✅ Magnificent landscapes. Really makes you want to go touch some grass. ✅ Short (around one hour to beat, perfect for one evening). ✅ The GOAT plot twist at the end. ✅ The "D" ending is absolute cinema. ❌ Poor optimization. ❌ The controls are a bit clunky. ❌ The "go ahead, I'll wait here" fella is kinda annoying. ❌ Copy-paste kiddos all across the area. Wish I could give it a neutral review, but it is what it is.

I played the demo before purchasing the full game for $2-$3.. I had no issues with demo but the full game I ran into a few issues. I did like playing the game and enjoyed the story and the graphics and visuals were really nice and great to look at, but rtead below what led me to leave a negative review. 1) I kept getting stuck on small steps while walking up them, I would be moving forward and then suddenly stop for no reason while going up the steps and it's not a keyboard issue as it's fine in other games. 2) When I was going around the houses, why are there invisible walls around the circle tables in the homes? I noted I could walk up to the table but if i tried to move right I couldnt, and noted invisible walls around them. 3) The whole journey was about finding Leila so when we got to end game, the final house, just as Leila came running up to us to hug us, the screen faded to black so we didn't see her hug us or get to see Leila? Why? The whole journey wasabout trying to find Leila. Odd choice to fade to black. 4) After travelling iwith Logan and learning about him, End game there were 3 choices, Join the cult, Be a sacrifice or Kill Logan. There are no achieve…

I try to find some positives in a game unless it shows an obvious lack of effort. I do think effort was put into this game so I'll extend that courtesy here. I think that the music and landscape are quite lovely. There's some very beautiful moments because of that. However. The story is absolutely ridiculous. The character models don't open their mouths to speak. The dialogue is bizarre. The puzzles are incredibly easy or have absurd premises. I don't understand the logic put forth here at all. I'm stunned by the mostly positive reviews and feel like perhaps I'm missing something here. That's entirely possible but going in blind I find the game egregiously baffling. I appreciate the effort and time put into this. I understand that this is likely a passion project. Unfortunately I just can't recommend it.
