Lost Nova is a charming, wholesome exploration game that prioritizes relaxation and discovery over pressure or difficulty, with appealing creature and character designs that players find delightful. The mining, farming, and puzzle mechanics are engaging enough to keep players entertained for around 6 hours, though some feel the experience lacks standout moments and note that certain achievements require repetitive grinding.
Lost Nova was a super pleasant suprise. I went in thinking this would be a typical craft and mine colonist type game and I was totally wrong! This game is CHARMING! While yes the main mechanic is mining and farming the environments to upgrade things, helping others on quests and ultimately fixing your spaceship, The mechanics of how you do this while exploring the world are super organic and enjoyable. The game has no time limits, no pressure, no enemies. It's a purely explore, find secrets, make friends and have a blast type of game! If you like wholesome games this one is definitely for you! It was super relaxing without being overly easy at any point as well. Super rad all around. I also absolutely adored all the diverse creatures, people and alien pals we meet throughout the game! There are so many different side quests, hidden secrets and bonus challenges that gives this game a much higher play time than I expected. The game is also very whimsical and filled with witty fancies all around. The other thing that suprised me most was that while the underlying story is not very long or complex, it was well written and heartfelt. Usually in this genre the story is secondary bu…3 found this helpful
Cute game with a wonderful story1 found this helpful
Cute, fun, collect-y game. Reminds me of Garden Story or Ogu and the Secret Forest, just shorter. Took me 6 hrs, zero rush and I got most of the achievements.
Pretty decent game. I had fun exploring and upgrading my gear. It was pretty relaxing to play. Nothing in it really blew me away tho. But I enjoyed my time with it and getting all the achievements.
I loved this game. it has smart puzzles and i love the forager eater egg. i hope for more games like this and forager
Fun little game if you just want to unwind and not worry. Half of my playtime is to grind for 2 achievements, so up to you if you want to repeat that.
