About Clash II
The plot of Clash II is set in a dark world in which battles have been fought for years between invaders bearing the signs of The One, calling themselves the Pure Ones, and the people who have inhabited the continent's magical lands for generations - the Old Ones. The growing conflict takes us once again to the center of the battles between the two factions. The story takes place decades after the events of the first part, with the Pure Ones remaining the dominant force as they conquer more regions of the continent.
Lead your team in classic turn-based battles against enemy armies and monsters inhabiting the ancient continent. Take advantage of the simultaneous movement of your troops and make use of their unique abilities.
- Take strategic positions before you decide to engage in battle.
- Manage your army and maintain a turn advantage to thwart the enemy's plans.

I don't know what the guy who said it was 60hrs was doing but I have 100% achi after 28hrs on the hardest setting and I'm known for taking my sweet time with these things. But hey 28hrs for what this game costs is more than fine. 2 healers in your 8 unit squads and you should have no trouble. The game has a steady progression in Kings Bounty, Disciples, HOMM style. It isn't quite up to the standards of the best of those and would have benefited from extra depth in both the variety of units and the storyline - but neither is it bad in any way. Clash II is a respectable HoMM clone game. There arent too many good HoMM type games on Steam, so if you are looking for one, definitely give this a try, especially at the lower price point. The good: Pretty good production values for an indie title, decent cut-scenes and voice acting. Music and sound fx is pretty good, captures the mood well. The negatives: Just doesnt really capture that HoMM magic. Definitely feels like a clone. The strategy is a bit too simplistic. Visuals are a bit too washed out and dark. Graphics are a bit outdated, they look like a game from early 2010s. Not bad, but not particularly impressive. Overall, for $5, the price of a starbucks coffee, this certainly worth adding to your steam library. I enjoyed it, but it also just reminds me that the newest HoMM game will be coming out this year.1 found this helpful

A good turn based strategy game with decent story. Worth it on offer. I got 100% achievements in less than 10 hours, so don't expect long game.

Interesting storyline, nicely solved combat, a bit repetitive but it is understandable considering the game's genre. Is it worth it? Yes I recommend this game to everyone. It is not expensive and it is worth trying.
