CLIMB OUT!

Last year, this developers first awesome little indie title Colorvore barely missed my Zaxtor's Indie Gold award as it scored a 92% (needs a 93% to make a ZIG).. This little gem however scored an impressive 94% score today in my first impressions review! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wYEwzraUFQ It's a super tough adventure to avoid the lava and it will take a little time to master for sure! Wow it gets addictive once you get used to the controls. You begin to learn new ways to swing and propel yourself faster leading to a more skillful climb away from the lava. I also like when you hit a dead end you must go all out to find another path. For such a low price you really can't go wrong with it and it's fun to play on my downtime between games. I like leader boards too :D Great classic game! Thumbs Up!

It is an interesting game. But, I found the controls a little annoying. Constantly having to press to do something. It is also more luck than skill. I would almost always end up in an area where I cant pass, because I should have chosen another path. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d9o3UnuH7CU

It's basically the bungie rope from Worms Armageddon, except that its very slow & clunky, & you cant fire the bungie rope wherever you want, only at the nearest surface, & the jumping controls are somehow even worse than the ones Worms give you. This is a decent idea for a game, but the sluggish & awkward controls pretty much ruin it. Nice idea; needs more time in the oven. A few updates to bring the controls & rope physics closer to the ones in Worms Armageddon, & this could be a fun little game.

Movement is quite janky. The character isn't centered when moving from left to right and vice versa, which can lead to glitching through terrain. I've been consistently able to skip entire sections and instantly move upward and sometimes escape the map due to this. I do not understand how to get the achievements as I have survived for at least an hour, and have not gotten the achievement for doing so. Lastly, my game crashes when my score reaches around the 2100-2500 point mark.
