I like this game for what it is. The story is humble. The controls take a min to get use to but is easy to get into rhythym. Playing the game is enjoyable, sneaking and problem solving. I really like the music. My only complaints, the game and the story is unfinished. I wish the developers will finish the story; perhaps make 'Code S-44: Episode 2'?

Really nice 3D Graphics and seemingly interesting lore but the controls are schizophrenic and hard to use

"Code S-44: Episode 1" is is not a game. It's an advertisement for a product called "Code S-44". Code S-44 is a simple but potentially even decent puzzle game if the developers had bothered to finish making it. But they didn't even finish making this advertisement for that game, which would have had you controlling a robot exploring a city and solving puzzles to save your friend. Never happened. But this isn't completely relevant because this is not Code S-44, it's just an advertisment for it, so it's not correct to try to review that completely distinct product. We must instead review this for what it is... an advertisement. If you enjoy advertisements, you can consume them for free on the web or on Youtube without needing to add them to your game library, download them, and then launch the advertising. It's impossible in a general sense to recommend people should do that over playing real, full games on Steam, and that applies here with "Code S-44: Episode 1" too.
