What is not to love about a nice platformer with some funky tunes! Crawling around, digging tunnels, and occasionally some agony for running yourself into an explosion or enemy. The most fun I have had with this game, has been casually speedrunning it, creating a pleasant level of stress between tactical movement and rushing through a level. Cute game, quite challenging!
A hidden gem of the indie gaming world! This short, brilliantly designed game is an absolute joy to play. You control a spiderbot, navigating through that are both challenging and rewarding to find the exit to the next level. The gameplay mechanics are smooth and intuitive, making it easy to dive into. It Digs Up is made in a way so that you can't clear it in one run: to advance to further levels you have to understand the game's mechanics and patiently work your way through digging up blocks. Once you get that, you will see progressing through the levels will go much faster. The visuals and music per level are charming and unique, perfectly complementing the game's atmosphere. The game plays smoothly and without bugs; it's clear that a lot of love went into creating this experience. Whether you're a fan of platformers, indie games, or just want to try something different, this game is a must-play. It’s short but sweet—perfect for a relaxing evening. Highly recommended!
Awesome movement mechanics, funky music, and more explosions than your heart can handle. What more could you ask for in a game?
