This was an okay visual novel for the price but it's hard to recommend. The art is pretty good - the backgrounds have a nice painting quality to them and the character sprites are cute. I liked that the main character in this is already out so there isn't a big "am I a lesbian" drama that you see in a lot of these yuri VNs. I also liked that the main character's architecture job actually tied into the plot. Unfortunately I didn't really think the characters stood out from each other very well personality-wise and the story was kind of bland and forgettable. I wish the game had been a little longer instead of glossing over basically the entire relationship until the characters are getting married in the epilogue.4 found this helpful
Protagonist is dressed like an effin polar explorer (a polar explorer with a stupid hat that makes her look like 13 yrs) all the time; at work, in business meetings, in hotel bedrooms, everywhere. Is this a bug? I cant play this. Too bad because I enjoyed other games from this dev.3 found this helpful
Cocoa club? Does this vn focus on chocolatey beverages or clubs? Does the title intrigue you at all? Titles can be misleading, barely relevant, metaphoric, etc. In this case, the second option is the closest in terms of relevance. You're not a high school student enjoying the best days of your life at a school club, but a serious architect focused deeply on her career. As part of your job, you're required to travel to Aspen with your boss. The main objective is to discuss business with your newest client, but life does not revolve only around work; chance encounters happen, folks. And it just happens that the daughter of your client and the daughter of your boss join you on your trip. The numerous choices will decide the path you step on. There are four endings to reach, two per route. The story branches very late, but the length of this vn is relatively short, so, with the aid of skipping, you can discover every fate in less than 4 to 6 hours easily. An interesting tidbit, possibly, is the character reference from another vn developed by Double Peach Productions called: Bahamian Rhapsody, which mentions the main character Kaylee as the ex-girlfriend of Rebecca. Also, Ingmar Gusta…
My favorite yuri LBBE game so far-haven't played them all yet. The art is good as usual, but this time it's backed by slightly less boring-and especially less preachy-dialogue, less non-important choices, likable love interests (I wish Amelia was one of them), and the best lesbian 18+ CG's I've seen from LBBE so far. It helps that the protagonist is super cute (I wish she was a love interest; I know, not possible) and hot when she's naked. Out of the yuri LBBE games (again, so far), I could actually recommend this one.
If there was ever a middle option I would hit it here. Arts good, the writing is... mostly boring? It's often fairly realistic for adults on a business trip and how adult the characters acted was the biggest charm of the whole thing, but that was generally hurt by the rushed endings including quick post game marriages, and trying to wrap it up too finely, killing the whole appeal of its fairly dry but realistic charm. Also like do yourself a favor, this game is not Summer's End where the nsfw patch adds like meaningful scenes that strengthen the character work and romance, it's just porn and very very poorly written porn at that. Don't download it.
I am a sucker for cute love stories. This that, flawed, but in the end still a very enjoyable read. Originally played the all ages version, which was good, the R18 version only adds a single sexual encounter that does not alter the story any, making this a good choice if you are not into that sort of thing, but would like a happy little story. Pros: The art style is pleasant, and comfortable, Very warm, in spite of the snowy setting. The character designs of the four primary characters is beautifully drawn Story is nicely written and the characters are all quite likeable. Cons: Short. The story is good, but it could have been filled out with a couple more scenes Character sprites would benefit from a wardrobe change. The fact that the protagonist and one primary character are in their winter coats and hats in almost every scene takes a bit away from any feeling of passing time, or their supposed current environment. Where just having a second outfit would improve that. In the end, it is not an amazing game, but it was pleasant, and happy and just a nice short -feel good- love story.
