I think the story is alright, the art isn't bad either, and it also has different endings, although I think the story is a bit short. If you're looking for something explicit to pass the time, I wouldn't recommend the game. But if you just want to read the story, I'd say it's fine. Still, as I said before, it's too short for me, so I don't recommend it...

BlueberryNOVA is a compact yuri visual novel that builds its experience around intimacy, choice-driven relationships, and a quiet coming-of-age tone, but ultimately delivers something that feels more like a brief character vignette than a fully realized narrative journey. Developed by Nova B12 in collaboration with OtakuNovel, the game places players in the role of Aika, a transfer student stepping into a new academic environment where unfamiliar faces and emotional uncertainty shape the direction of the story. Rather than relying on high-stakes drama or complex worldbuilding, it keeps its focus tightly centered on interpersonal dynamics and the subtle shifts that occur through conversation and choice. The structure follows a traditional visual novel format, with the majority of gameplay consisting of reading dialogue and making occasional decisions that influence how relationships unfold. These choices are not overly complex, but they serve as the backbone of the experience, nudging the story toward different romantic outcomes and emotional conclusions. The branching paths lead to multiple endings, though the differences between them tend to be more tonal than structural. Instead…

this game may trigger people. yeah... no matter which route you pick, someone gets assaulted, only difference is who. and if you pick a certain route, it's implied that one character
Commits suicide.
this, combined with the short length... you may just want to avoid this game instead.

The art is lackluster and the music feels painfully generic. The story is unfinished at best and bad at worst. It lacks the ability to connect the narrative dots so speak. One minute your in class and the next your being assaulted in the bathroom by a catgirl. Then for some reason you're friends with this cat girl and decide to go to her birthday party where you drink too much and force yourself on her. The path for the other girl is equally ridiculous and the threesome achievement is just thrown in at the end of one route with nothing logical leading to it, or connecting to it at all. There are various other gaffes as well like the girls talking about living in neighboring apartments, but they are clearly houses. The girls say they are in college, but I've never seen a college that copies a generic Japanese High School. It makes it hard to suspend disbelief and be in the novels world. It is also painfully short. I'm not the fastest reader, but I still fully cleared it and got all the achievements in less than hour. The translation is not great either. Overall, this is not one that can be recommended. Save your money!
Steam Deck Experience: Excellent
I can see why this has mixed reviews. $3 for 45 minutes of a fairly shallow story with a breakneck pace. I mean I have a short attention span, but even I was like, "oh I guess we're done here," with nearly every scene. Still, it was only $3 and the story wasn't awful, just not great. The characters didn't feel like they had any history, save for the slight history thrusted into your face by Eva, and the story wasn't long enough for you to get attached to them even if you wanted to.
