About Salting the Earth

Roo Cherriwati has it all planned out...

She hopes to start anew in another city, earn a lot money and surround herself with long-lasting friends. Who knows? Among those unfamiliar faces could be a woman she will fall in love with.

Alright. So she didn’t plan to be late on her first day, nor did she plan to plummet down a building into the arms of a tall and enigmatic stranger. And what if her job isn’t what she signed up for either? She definitely shouldn't cross her boss but her curiosity is piqued: This building full of history doesn’t have anything hidden in its darkest depths, surely?

Perhaps, she hasn’t got it all planned out. Not in the slightest.

A visual slice-of-life lesbian romance about building trust, settling differences and a Nymph protagonist pining for muscular women.

Featuring:
 • Over 60 illustrations
 • Multiple love interests and encounters (1 hidden route)
 • Heartfelt facets of a modern fantasy's post civil war era
 • 5 main endings
 • Hours of play time

I absolutely adore this game... It is the ideal lesbian VN I have been searching for, I won't lie. The art is fantastic, the music is wonderful, and the story is engaging without being stereotypical. I LOOOOVE THIS GAME!!! I hope y'all release more lesbian VN in the future!!!!

Only half an hour in, and I'm already loving the art, characters, and the hints of world building have been neat as heck. I'll update my review if something really sours the experience out of nowhere, but this is a real solid thumbs up at this point.

Beautiful Yuri/ WLW VN that made me laugh and sometimes also hit me in the feels. The writing and story telling is very good and the protagonists are all over 20. If you always wanted to play a horny nymph and love big musle mommies, that is your game. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!

A great Visual Novel, well-worth buying. Much more complex story than one usually finds. The art is absolutely amazing, the characters are fleshed out and believable, the endings are affected by your choices, all the good stuff. Give it a read!

This game genuinely raised the bar for visual novels for me. Excellent writing, lesbians, political intrigue, cultural differences between characters... the main character is incredibly thirsty and will not hesitate to tell you so, but she quickly grows attached to not only lovers, but also the new friends around her. In romantic relationships, there is relationship baggage from previous relationships, that manifests differently depending on the character you decide to pursue romantically. The worldbuilding adds depth to this story, and the dreams are an interesting detail, too. It doesn't hurt that the MC is a cutiepie who is highly attracted to the muscle mommies that basically surround her. But summarizing the game this way - while it is an effective summary - seems like to me like I'm selling the game short! It's really good. I love it.

Play this if you want... ... a very, very lesbian visual novel with frisky art and an engaging, interesting story. Salting the Earth is somewhat of a hidden gem and quite short compared to other visual novels. But the story and the obvious care that was put into it makes up for it. There aren't many choices but when there are some, they matter and lead to one of the several outcomes of the story. You can also skip text you have already read - which is a feature that should be available in every visual novel. Don't play this if you... ... are used to lengthy visual novels with movement and other mechanics. It is a simple game and I would buy it when it's on sale.
