Commando Jack

[h1] Tower defense in which you fend off some wonky enemies trying to survive to the next stage. You can drop different special towers, bombs or shoot them down using your mighty turret. You can swap between various ammo types like rockets, minigun and such. Not very polished game and interface feels kinda clunky plus game have some micro transactions for additional loot crates and stuff like that. On top of that each stage feels a bit tedious so play at your own risk. Still gonna play it though but it's not the best tower defense type of experience. Just play Sanctum 2 instead. [/h1]

Short description: Buggy mess, these four hours on the clock are from background running to get all cards dropps. BTW I don't know how this game passed all checks that are required to get trading cards as this game is a prime example of a low-effort "shovelware" title. PS. I run in this same issues when running it on windows 10 and 11 PC's. PS2: Apparently You cannot post stats of multiple PC when posting review. What a shame ;/

It starts off solid enough, though it's clear that each tiny level is intended to be replayed five to ten times each (which is really uninspired) - until you get to the fact that the hybrid first person turret section's inclusion created a lot of problems when it comes down to regular towers - several towers now require you to awkwardly juggle between these two modes in order to get them to work properly. It's a classic case of inventing a problem, and half-assing a solution. Innovative, sure, but absolutely not interesting.

Outdated graphics and illogical controls. levels are boring and enemies even more dull. lacks interesting ideas and variability. this game only causes disappointment and makes you want to turn it off. avoid it.
